Christmas 2011 Recap

It's hard for me to believe that December is almost over! Clint and I had a wonderful Christmas.  I actually don't have a lot of pictures, because a new camera was on our Christmas list :)

Most of my list this year consisted of comfortable clothes for after Miss Ryan gets here, PJ pants, black slouchy boots to wear with tights, and a comfie, warm house rob.  I feel like a mom already! ;)
This Christmas was definitely different, all our "events" were spaced out nicely, so there were several days of rest and relaxation. I'm sure this was the last relaxing Christmas that we'll have from here on out once we welcome our little Ryan girl!

Here are a few pictures: **We did spend time with Clint's family, but I don't have any good pictures!! :(

32 weeks, relaxing after opening all of my goodies!

Clint, me and my parents.... my new boots!!

Headed to my Aunt's house - the last year it will be just the two of us.  FYI, I was running really late this day, because I couldn't find an outfit that I liked... my belly is definitely starting to get bigger!

30 weeks! I can't believe it!

I'm at week 30 of my pregnancy today... and it's hard to believe that my little girl will be here soon!!
As of right now, I'm scheduled to have a c-section on February 9th - so that means that tomorrow there are officially only 2 months until Ryan is here!

I start going to the doctor every two weeks - my next appointment is Monday and my last ultrasound is Monday also. I can't wait to see her sweet face... and find out what she is using to poke me in my left side.  Clint and I really think there are two feet on my left side, we can feel them pretty well. I guess it could be two elbows or two knees though.

I'll get an offical 30 weeks picture posted tomorrow. I feel huge, but everyone keeps telling me how I'm "so tiny" We'll see how long those comments last!! :)

Bow Holder

I was crafty this weekend! I made miss Ryan a cute little bow holder!
It was really easy - I bought the letter and ribbon at Hobby Lobby.
I painted the letter... it took about 3 or 4 coats of paint and then I cut 3 foot strips of ribbon to attach to the letter.
I hot-glued the ribbon to the back of the letter, and discovered that the ends of the ribbon at the bottom wouldn't lie flat against the wall... so I hot-glued two pennies to the ends of each ribbon... it worked perfectly!
Now, I just need some more bows!! :)
I stole this idea from Pinterest! Super easy!!!
Enjoy Thanksgiving this week... I'm looking forward to time with family and yummy food! No diet this year!!!!
My next Dr. appointment is one week from today, I'll be 28 weeks!

Pony

My mom loves horses.... she has always loved horses! She has 3 full grown horses living at her home, she and my dad live on about 4 acres of land and enjoy raising a variety of different animals. Mom's heart is sold out to horses though.

I like horses... I don't have the love for them that my mom does though. She swears that the horse obsession skips a generation.  So, Ryan will probably have the "horse-lover gene".

Not only does Mom love having horses to ride, she really loves teaching kids about horses. So, once she found out I was pregnant, she started shopping around for the perfect pony.  She found him!! Clint and I met him Saturday night... he is beautiful and has a sweet deposition.

Meeting  the pony for the first time. He is amazing! It's hard to tell in this picture, but Ryan was wiggled around funny and my stomach looked so weird! For the first time, my belly was crooked. :)

P.S. The pony doesn't have a name yet. Right now, he's just "the pony".

3 months

Wow... yesterday starts the official countdown. Three months till Ryan is here! I'm curious to see if time will drag or fly by.  I hoping with all the holidays coming up that it doesn't drag by at a tiring rate.

Clint touched up paint in her room last weekend, I'm painting a few things - a wall hanging and a step stool. We haven't really started shopping for a dresser yet... that's still on the to-do list.

I'm 26 weeks today and feeling good. Every once in a while, I'll get a good jab in the ribs - not sure if it's a foot, elbow or arm... but some pointy body part. I passed my glucose test - yay!! And, I'm looking forward to eating lots of yummy food at Thanksgiving!
