Wonderful Weekend

Clint & I had such a great weekend! Friday night, we went to dinner at Snuffers - we sat and talked to our new friends from church from 6:30 to 9 pm! Time just flew by!

Saturday morning, we slept in late and then my amazing husband washed my car for me!

He is so good to me!

Then, we went to the Dallas World Aquarium!!!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Gotta love Fridays! I'm really looking forward to this weekend! Tonight, we are going to Snuffers with some friends from church. They are an amazing couple with some great kiddos. I'm looking forward to picking their brain about Christian marriage & parenting!

Saturday night we're going out with my girls Tiffany and Kendall (and we're letting the boys come too!!)

Then.... on Sunday I have church and Bunco with the Women's Ministry that evening. Should be a fun and busy weekend!! Pictures to come!

Way Behind

So my students are so behind in my Intro to Psychology course! I teach two different sections - a Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday. We missed the following days due to snow/ice:

Boys will be boys

This past weekend our area got an incredible (for us at least) amount of snow!

Our street, covered in beautiful snow.

It was goregous! I stayed inside, nice and cozy warm all day! My grandmother got us a wonderful little heater for Christmas/graduation. Long story short, shipping was delayed quite a bit, but it finally came in. It's a space heater that I actually feel comfortable leaving on for several hours (while we're home of course!)

Our friends from across the street came over for a home cooked dinner, and then the boys decided to go outside and play. It was 10 p.m. and WAY too cold for us girls!

Snow fort that the boys built. Pretty impressive!! Clint is 6'4" and it was taller than him!

I haven't blogged about him before. He is truly amazing.

I truly believe he is in my life because my parents and my grandparents prayed for him from the time I was young. He is truly a gift from God.

Brrrrrr

For the record..... I do NOT like cold weather!

This is WAY too cold for me! I like 70-80 degree weather! Hello.... I live in Texas!! Anyhow... work was closed yesterday, and the husband got to stay home too! Here's how we spent most of our lazy snow day:

Sam all cuddled up and warm while mom and dad watch TV!

The dogs usually don't sleep in bed with us, but Clint said since it was a snow day they could cuddle while we watched TV. 

Clint got me an electric throw blanket for Christmas.... Sam loves to lay on top of it when I have it on.

We had a lazy, warm, cozy snow day!

Hopefully it will be warmer soon!!
